A bit of our art selling history. For as long as we've been in the Antique/Collectable business, just about 40 years now, we've sold thousands of pieces of art.
Much being FloridaPast Art. Which includes some of the best Highwaymen Art.

This little Gem, was in our personal collection for many years.
We can see that Addisen was a Talented Artist.
And because of the style of painting, Addisen must have been a roadside painter back in that era. Much like the notable Highwaymen, selling works to Tourists.

The print has condition issues. We had it laminated, matted and framed in an old period frame. Which shows it's age/use etc., not so bad. See Close Up photos for the print's condition. Stains, browning, a couple small missing surface pieces. So far as we found, this is the only example.
Displays Wonderfully. You'll Love It!

This is what back of print looks like. We put it back in frame since it was out
**When originally purchased, it was in this old frame.
We carefully took apart to clean, and figured we should take a photograph of the backside of print.
There are dry water stains, not as prevalent on front. Each image when clicked on will Enlarge your view. The frame is tight, no breaks. Has the original gold/bronze finish, having some wears and age shown. Again, nothing serious. Images show pretty well.

Some borrowed history about E.G. Barnhill ->
"E. G. Barnhill specialized in publishing tropical, Florida post cards, greeting cards and pictorial photography of Florida from 1914 - 1932. The printing of his early cards was done in Germany. He published, photographed, and hand colored his cards himself. Most of his cards were printed by the Albertype Company of New York."
"Barnhill was always interested in American Indian culture. He met Edward S. Curtis when he was still in his late teens. While working with Curtis, he learned the "goldtoning" photo process using uranium dyes. He experimented with this process from 1914 until the mid 1920s. During WWII he established an Indian Trading Post at the Wisconsin Dells, which he operated summers until 1959. A few years later he opened the Indian Springs Museum in Palm Bay, Florida."
